I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh (UK), who occasionally dabbles in poetry. I am fond of science, birds, music and nature.

I created this portfolio as a way to cope with anxieties and emotional baggage I’ve hauled for many years. As such, the works featured here paint a deeply personal, vulnerable portrait of myself; it is a way to help me organise my chaotic thoughts, emotions and perspectives. It’s daunting to share this with the world, but perhaps there’s a poem amongst this jumble that someone, somewhere, can relate to. Maybe it can help, maybe not.

I am deeply indebted to my beautiful wife and close friends for their support and patience.
